So What Exactly Goes On At “Higher Ground”?

I know, I know, the video is a little rough. I was too busy having fun in the wilderness! Hey, who is that guy singing 😉

I’ll be up front with ya! There is a lot to do here in Colorado! Staci, and I (and Dudley) would love for you to come hang out a couple or 3 days. We can ride horses or rapids. We can go hiking the mountains or walk through the towns. We can go fly fishing in the high mountain lakes (4 mile hike), or we can just eat fish at the Boathouse in Salida! You can just sit there with your coffee and experience some of the most beautiful sunsets God has ever painted. I’ll be up front with ya! You say your coming out here to do any which or any whatever activity………. You’ll be coming to experience God. Happens every time!

I’ll be up front with ya! Staci and I don’t provide everything. You’ll have to pitch in and buy some of the bacon. You might even have to help cook the biscuits, or pitch in for the pizzas from town. You might even have to help me as I lay natural stone on the foundation of the cabin here at “Higher Ground”.

If you’ve read this far, you truly must be interested in coming out to hang out,…… oh yea, and EXPERIENCE GOD!!!!

Well, I gotta be up front with you and whoever you want to bring along with you…..(to experience God). Staci and I are always up front with our guests and friends. We will not be providing things that you may be used to, may have grown accustomed to, or may think you can’t do without. What are those things? Fear, hurt, rudeness, talk of the virus, masks or no masks, unhappy people, angry folks, FEAR, talk of politics, hate, did I mention FEAR? You’ve got enough of that each and everyday. Seriously, leave all that at home. Come. Come and have fun. Come …….. and experience God!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,…….. in the light of his Glory and Grace.
