spidershotWhoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he trusts in the LordThe wise in heart are called discerning, and pleasant words promote instructionProverbs 16: 20,21The video this week (featured story) talks about how older Christians are "terrible" at giving advice to others.  Maybe this scripture is a way to improve on this.  Pleasant words promote instruction.  "I told you", "What are you doing?", "You need to do what I say"........  those probably are not the most pleasant words to hear (whether young or old). When you have the opportunity to give advice, give it from the heart.  Give advice in a caring, loving, concerned way.  That's being a Christian! When you have the opportunity to take advice, take it to heart. Take advice in a loving, growing to understand way.  That's being a Christian!
